The year 2025 is coming to an end. This is the perfect opportunity to look back on the highlights and milestones of the past 12 months at AnyViz. We have worked hard to make our cloud platform even more powerful, flexible, and secure.
Highlights from the 2025 Changelog
The changelog clearly demonstrates how extensively the platform has continued to evolve:
- Universal Cloud Adapter 2.0 & 2.1: With the new versions of our Cloud Adapter, we have significantly strengthened local intelligence. A key highlight is the new Lua scripting capability, which allows logic to run directly on the Cloud Adapter. The Network Scan makes it easier to discover and set up OT devices. In addition, the interface has been modernized and security further enhanced.
- Flow Animation & Simulation: New flow animations provide a vivid visualization of processes (e.g., in water management or energy distribution). The new simulation mode allows dynamic behavior to be tested directly in edit mode.
- Improved File Management & Backup: The Cloud Adapter now enables direct access to the file systems of end devices. Thanks to integrated version control, important configuration files can be securely backed up in the cloud.
- Modern Identity Management: With the introduction of passkeys and a new login design, access to the portal has become not only more secure but also more convenient.
- Further Improvements: From new task management features and optimized pivot options to extended VNC settings, many small enhancements make the platform more robust and user-friendly overall.
Extended LoRaWAN Support
A key focus in 2025 was wireless connectivity. We significantly expanded the list of supported LoRaWAN devices to cover even more use cases out of the box. Newly supported devices include, among others:
- Diehl IZAR (smart water meters)
- MClimate (building automation)
- Fluidada FM432 (reading existing electricity meters)
- Milesight WS301, UC300, UC50x & EM500 (sensors for environment, I/Os, and climate) …and many more devices that can now be seamlessly integrated into AnyViz at no additional cost.
For Greater Digital Sovereignty: Migration to OTC
A major strategic milestone was the migration of our infrastructure. To guarantee the highest level of digital sovereignty and data protection for our customers, we moved from Microsoft Azure to the Open Telekom Cloud (OTC). This ensures that your data remains in a secure, transparent, and purely European cloud environment.
Outlook: What’s Coming Next
We are not resting on our achievements! Just in time for the start of the new year, a long-awaited feature is about to be released: The timers. These will allow time-controlled processes and switching operations to be configured even more intuitively directly within the AnyViz portal.
We would like to thank you for your trust and the great collaboration over the past year. The AnyViz team wishes you a peaceful holiday season and a successful start to 2026!
