Lots of IOs and interfaces with LTE in a compact case

IoTmaxx Gateway

Capturing sensors, pulses or other signals couldn’t be easier, because IoTmaxx gateways come with AnyViz Cloud Adapter pre-installed and the IOs can be used immediately.

The selection of good industrial IoT gateways is smaller than one might think. With the maxx GW series, we are all the more pleased to present a solution with which all the functions of the AnyViz Cloud Adapter can be used without any restrictions. The powerful gateway comes with a 4G LTE module that can access 2 SIM cards. The devices operate at temperatures from -25°C to 70°C and are ideally suited for industrial purposes thanks to the extended voltage range of 8-30V DC and DIN rail mounting.

Sensor board with various IOs

The GW4101 has a sensor board expansion and is ideally suited to acquire sensors in a decentralized manner. Once the gateway is connected to the AnyViz Cloud, the IOs are immediately available and can be configured for visualization and data acquisition with just a few clicks. Each of the digital inputs can also be used as a pulse counter. With this selection, no wishes should remain unfulfilled:

  • 12x digital inputs (thereof 4x isolated inputs)
  • 2x digital outputs
  • 2x multifunctional IOs (input, output or voltage measurement)
  • 4x analog input (0-20mA)
  • 4x temperature input (PT100 or PT1000)

If fewer IOs are required, the even slimmer GW4100 can be used, which should fit into any control cabinet with a width of only 42mm.

All interfaces in one device

Only a few IoT gateways have every interface that can be used by our Universal Cloud Adapter for connectivity. Thus, Modbus RTU devices can be coupled via the RS485 interface and simultaneously communicate with an MBus level converter via the RS232 interface. Further PLC couplings can be realized via the integrated 100Mbits Ethernet interface.

What is new is that with the IoTmaxx devices, the 1-Wire bus can be acquired directly with the Universal Cloud Adapter for the first time. The connected 1-Wire sensors are available fully automatically in the AnyViz Cloud. This means that even more sensors can be acquired cost-effectively.

Last but not least, the IoT Gateway can be used for AnyViz VPN. This allows AnyViz users to connect to the gateway and the devices behind it with just one click in order to perform remote maintenance, install updates or make extensions.

More information about the devices from IoTmaxx, with integrated AnyViz Cloud Adapter, can be found on the manufacturer’s product page.
